Espacio B is a redevelopment project of a former industrial warehouse located in the City of Buenos Aires. This building, which once contained a publishing house, has been transformed into a hybrid space for living and working, promoting well-being and balance with the surrounding environment.

Foster + Partners has just unveiled the opening of “Radial,” a new summer pavilion for the London Festival of Architecture. Situated at Principal Place, an office space also designed by Foster + Partners in London, the pavilion brings new life to the plaza. “Radial” is constructed from readily available and reusable materials, showcasing a commitment to sustainability. The structure also provides a welcoming space for rest and contemplation.

Located in Balmoral, Australia, the design tackled the challenge of merging a sloping, south-facing site with the need for a two-story extension, all while preserving the classic Californian bungalow frontage. The primary goal was to invite northern sunlight into the home, ensuring a connection with the surroundings. This was achieved through a two-story internal atrium, crowned by a northern-facing skylight, which floods the interiors with light. The new layout arranges kitchen, living, dining areas, and upper-level bedrooms around this central feature. The architecture serves a busy family of five, with both parents working and children in school. The clients needed a functional and efficient design that allows for simple, conscious living in harmony with their garden surroundings.

N Retreat is a two-story company retreat located in the forest of Odae Mountain. The project is inspired by the spectrum of vegetation on site and the Korean vernacular greenhouse, Onsil.
