SUKSAN Café / MTT

Sea, island, wind, forest, and people. One cold winter day, I stood atop the rocky mountain filled with boulders and watched the sunset over the West Sea. The sun setting amidst the slow but bustling harbor and the peacefully drifting islands created a unique emotion that could only be felt here on the rocky mountain. Contrary to the cold weather, it seemed as though the warmth and abundance of the sea were being transferred to the mountain, sparking the beginning of this project.

Borderless House / FORMZERO

March 27, 2024 Andreas Luco 0

Borderless House is designed for an elderly couple who value nature and family connection. To create a house of garden, traditional Chinese garden design principles are expanded upon to create an all-connected park-like home. The border and relationship between family members are designed so that each room has privacy and is separated from the rest. Yet, the spaces are all interconnected with each other and nature. Besides, the Borderless House references the architectural tectonics of the Barcelona Pavilion.
