This project was built to replace the old house that has deteriorated and is no longer suitable for the increasingly different needs of the owner. They desire to keep a little bit of the old house when the new one is built; for them, it is a little nostalgia to remember the place that has sheltered them since they were born and grew up. For us, it is fortunate to have been exposed to the old house before it was demolished; a few checks on the proportions of the porch, the tile roof system, some of the doorways, and even the trees that existed there long ago.
The house is located in a subdivision inside a natural forested area. The property has neighbors on each side barely three meters apart, while the rear side is next to an oak tree reservation where the view is narrowed only a few meters away because of the trunks and canopies’ density.

In addition to expanding the exhibition area, it was also necessary to accommodate the administrative sector. Located on a corner lot in Curitiba, the store’s expansion has two implementation strategies: the enrichment of customers’ relationship with the natural landscape of the land and the creation of an exhibition showcase for the city, through the expansion of the facade to the street main.
