Single-family housing is located in the commune of Calera de Tango, Metropolitan region. Located on the edge of an orchard, the house is organized within a bar in which all the habitable spaces are oriented towards the north light and enjoy unobstructed views of the adjacent plantation, as well as Cerro Chena and the Andes mountain range. On the south side of this bar are located all the service spaces, including the kitchen, bathrooms, walk-in closet, access, utility room, and cellar. On the north axis of the house, the spaces are arranged from private to public, with bedrooms on one side, followed by the living-dining room, then a covered patio that functions as a patio and extension of the living-dining room, and finally, a music studio that can be opened towards the covered patio or the adjacent plantation.

The requested program included a private area with 3 suites and contiguous social and leisure areas, all on one floor.
In the heart of Berlin, housing for students is becoming increasingly unaffordable, making the outskirts more important when it comes to creating new living spaces for this target group. A housing project for students consisting of 159 flats, commissioned by the city-owned housing company Berlinovo, has recently been completed in the up-and-coming district of Oberschöneweide in the Treptow borough. It was constructed as part of a framework agreement for the creation of new, serially produced residential buildings. This followed a competition organized by the Association of the German Housing Industry as a conceptual procedure to find innovative ideas.

Greek architecture practice K-studio has completed a visitor space for drinks company Metaxa, carving an experiential route out of the stepped stone terraces of a century-year-old vineyard. Located on the island of Samos the project, called Liknon, nestles into a large terraced vineyard that is home to one of Metaxa’s key ingredients, the Muscat grape.
