While conceiving the architecture for this home in Ahmedabad, one of our primary drivers was a response to the hot and dry summers in the city, with average daytime temperatures reaching 42 degrees Celsius. The form of the house is derived from its climactic orientation as well as shading devices that keep the internal spaces cool. Deep verandahs and overhangs, horizontal pergolas, and vertical louvers gently filter the fierce sun.

The Nursery.1306 plants for Timișoara is a 10 month temporary urban installation in Victory Square – Timișoara, Romania. The structure challenges conventional notions of urban design by seamlessly integrating greenery with a towering scaffolding installation. Combining functionality, sustainability, and aesthetics, the Nursery stands as a testament to the harmonious coexistence of nature and the built environment.
Against the background of “Build Simply”, we developed a simple type of house for the WOGENO property, which is accessed via a common entrance, that leads to two central stairwells.
