Revitalization Congress Center Hamburg / Hupe Flatau Partner

Congress Center Hamburg (CCH). When it was first opened in 1973, the Congress Center Hamburg (CCH) was considered Europe’s largest congress facility, and legends of the 1970s and 1980s such as ABBA, Deep Purple, and Queen filled it with visitors. After almost 50 years, the building was revitalized and expanded. In 2014, the workgroup ARGE agn leusmann / Tim Hupe Architekten was awarded the project. Since its reopening in 2022, the venue’s calendar has been brimming with events.

The 1930s Montesol hotel in Ibiza has reopened following a full overhaul of its 30 bedrooms and three suites by Dorothée Meilichzon of French interior design studio Chzon. Set in the old town of Eivissa, the newly renamed Montesol Experimental has been undergoing a multi-stage renovation since 2021, when it was bought by the Experimental

To make the most of its modest budget, this small house uses inexpensive materials throughout but balances them with custom detailing and craftsmanship.  Bespoke deep-set steel windows frame views out, while one window sill doubles up as a sink, draining water directly into the garden bed outside.

Located at the Lumina Center on the West Bund of Shanghai, Tezign is a well-known Internet and AI technology company featuring diverse working models and relatively flat management methods. Employees have the freedom to define their roles and ways of working. At the beginning of the project, the client described the entire office environment and atmosphere as a school campus, hoping that employees could freely choose to adapt their corner or switch between multi scenarios.

The plot was 40 feet wide and 75 feet deep. The project is an attempt to maximize the dialogue with the outdoors as you navigate the depth of the plot. Therefore, it was imperative to interrupt the plot depth with punctuation marks of sunshine and air.
