The Nogam Walnut Factory is located at Herdade das Atafonas, in the Municipality of Évora, and has around 11000 sqm. An attempt was made to implement the walnut processing unit in order to respond not only to legal constraints but also to programmatic and geographic constraints. Starting from a triangular reference shape given by one of the legal conditions, it was decided to follow this shape and distribute the program around a central courtyard.

The project is located in the Shenzhen OCT-Loft Creative Culture Park. Shenzhen is a city full of possibilities, and the Creative Culture Park is a gathering of people with creative output. The Park is surrounded by a cultural and artistic atmosphere, with all kinds of renovated factories, lush greenery, and old trees. All these inspired the design team to think about how to create an impact and impression for the bar, attract customers and empower its commercial operation. AD ARCHITECTURE hoped to create a new sense of tension in the artistic side, to achieve a new breakthrough by thinking in the opposite direction, and to bring out the uniqueness of the space with a “radical” approach.

Taoyuan Elementary School / CUBE DESIGN

Project overview – Taoyuan Elementary School is located in Sungang, Luohu, Shenzhen, and in the reception hall of New Luohu in the future. It has unique geographical conditions. The school is mainly surrounded by residential areas and mixed industrial and commercial land, with a high population density; There are few schools within one kilometer, only Sungang Primary School and Guiyuan Middle School, and the existing schools are old and the facilities are aging due to the age. According to the regional characteristics of “New Luohu” in terms of science, technology, ecology, humanities, and innovation, Taoyuan Elementary School is committed to building itself into a regional first-class school that represents the quality of Luohu education, easing the degree of tension around and improving the comprehensive strength of education in the region.
