Intro
Throughout the history of humanity, the table has played a fundamental role in many aspects, acquiring a great cultural value and being the stage of infinite uses and activities. Many of the great events have been and will continue to be recorded around a table: The instructions of the year XIII were drafted and signed on the table of the general constituent assembly; republican democracy materializes at the polling stations, great stories of love and friends arise at a bar table; and the family gathers around the table on Sundays for lunch and sharing. The table with its historical genealogy, is no stranger to the different moments that have left important traces in the history of man; to reflect on the affective power of this object is to build spaces where different ways of living, being and being with others can be displayed.

One of the most important churches in Munich got new confessionals. The Jesuit Church of St. Michael in the old town of Munich, built between 1583 and 1597, is dedicated to Archangel Michael and is stylistically at the transition from Renaissance to Baroque. Many building ideas were adopted from “II Gesù”, the Roman mother church of the Jesuits. The Munich “Michaelskirche” became a model for many baroque churches in German-speaking countries. St. Michael was also the spiritual center of the Counter-Reformation in Bavaria.

Atkins Reveals New Secondary School with Net Zero Operational Carbon Emissions in West Sussex, UK

Designed by Atkins, a new zero-carbon secondary school in West Sussex has received planning permission from the West Sussex County Council. The school will be created at Homes England’s new Brookleigh development near Burgess Hill and will offer educational facilities to 900 local children. The building is designed to generate its own renewable energy on-site, eliminating the need for any fossil fuels. It also aims to achieve Passivhaus certification, the highest standard od energy efficiency a building can reach.
