The Hen House project was designed by Rural Design and completed in 2010. It was one of the first contemporary projects on the Isle of Skye to use innovative forms beyond the classic, pitched roof vernacular. In particular the use of a simple mono-pitch form.

‘Yooshinjae’ is a workspace reopened in August 2021 after 11 months of planning and remodeling to revitalize a dilapidated building located in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, as an architectural design studio. The original building was completed on June 23, 1926, during the Japanese colonial period. The current owner acquired ownership of the property in 1975 and used it as their own office building. September 21, 2022 Hana Abdel 0

Located in the bustling town of Muzaffarnagar, India, The Hem House designed by Portal 92 is a residential refurbishment and redevelopment project sprawling across an area of 3400 sqm. With a design intent to hem the two houses together, the façade was reconfigured to achieve a homogenous appearance. This was attempted by engaging in a pursuit to achieve a vague sense of symmetry in an inherently asymmetric system.
