The listed Art Nouveau building from 1835 was extensively renovated and expanded with a pavilion-like annex along the Aare River. On the ground floor, the “Cafe Falken” was created with a bar, salon, seminar rooms and a small outdoor terrace. You can feel the history of the time when you walk through the old city wall between the bar and the salon.

The Observation Tower project at Vidyasirimedhi Institute of Science and Technology (VISTEC) is located in Rayong province. VISTEC is a research & development campus for various agencies in the Wangchan area and is part of a larger Eastern Economic Corridor of Innovation project (EECi). The 6-story-high Observation Tower has a panoramic viewing deck on the top floor, affording unobstructed views of the surrounding Wangchan Valley, including the entire VISTEC and the whole EECi campus.
Marusho was founded in Yokohama 55 years ago. We were in charge of the renovation design of the 1st-floor sales floor, staircase, and façade, in continuation of last year’s second-floor clothing area. In contrast to the 2nd floor, which was mainly a formal Kimono for weddings, the 1st floor displays 3 types of Kimono which are Furisode for coming-of-age ceremonies, Hakama for graduation ceremonies, and Shichi-Go-San for kids.
