The essence of the assignment was to create a contemporary living environment that is comfortable and in complete harmony with the original main house dating from 1949. The distinct features of the design are high-quality materialization and improved detailing that allows the transitions from existing to new and building to the environment to take place silently. The house is located on a corner plot on an avenue in the characteristic 1930s garden district called Den Elzent, located close to the center of Eindhoven. Additionally, the plot borders the natural landscape of the nearby city walking park (Stadswandelpark).

The 59th International Art Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia has officially opened its doors to the public on the 23rd of April, 2022. Titled “The Milk of Dreams”. the exhibition is welcoming more than 210 artists from 58 countries, to showcase over a thousand artworks and installations that promote art, science, research, and ecological transition from the environmental humanities.
The UTOPIA residence is a new address in the town of Bruz, located on the edge of the Herverie park, a stone’s throw from the town center. It is a quiet building set on the slope of the land, a large vessel whose bow, open to the public garden, invites the residents to enter an interior world sheltered by a glass roof.
