Seven Lives Housing / Anna & Eugeni Bach
The project consists of a small block of three tiny apartments on a plot between established buildings in the old centre of the Horta neighbourhood in Barcelona.

Efremidis / CAMA A
Efremidis is situated on the ground floor of the listed building designed for IBM by Rolf Gutbrod and Hermann Kiess in the early 1960s. The ground floor housed the data center of the blue giant which explains the higher than usual ceiling filled with air vents and -ducts. The exhibition space has been redesigned by CAMA A during the summer of 2018. Many original architectural features were retained in order to encourage reflections on the exhibition site. In the building, which was built by Rolf Gutbrod in the 1960s, the new gallery occupies the entire ground floor. In the past, the latest computer models were exhibited here – today it is a room in which contemporary art is shown.
Nhà LỒNG HẺM Residence / AD+studio
The house was located in a small alley, which was used as a shortcut in order to avoid Hàng Sanh crossroads during rush hours. Therefore, the area was scattered with many small businesses that appeared due to the bustling condition.
“SHIZIKOU” Relics Environmental Conservation and Extension / Lacime Architects
Environment: vestige of time
East of Cangjie, Suzhou stands “Shizikou (Lion Mouth)” prison that used to be one of the three major prisons during the Republic of China, and it is only one block away from Pingjiang Road, a famous historical and cultural street. The KMT brought a charge against the “Seven Gentlemen” in 1937, for which Soong Ching-ling, He Xiangning and Hu Yuzhi launched the campaign of “save the country and go to prison”. In addition, Chen Gongbo, Chu Minyi, Miao Bin and other prisoners were executed by firing squad here, and Chen Bijun, the wife of Wang Jingwei, was also jailed here.
Penghu House / XRANGE Architects
On the Penghu archipelago west of Taiwan, indigenous laogushi or coral stone houses are a unique cultural heritage. With roots in the southern Chinese coastal regions of Qing dynasty, coral stone houses were built of actual corals blocks stacked upon a base wall of basalt quarried on the islands. They are characterized by a nine-square plan, distinctive “rolled” roof ridges resembling a curved gable, and “slits and pillars” as window openings due to strong winds. For a multi-generation Penghu family, XRANGE is inspired to reinterpret these historical coral house clusters seen on windswept plains of wild chrysanthemum.
The Aerospace City School of RDFZ / BIAD
The Aerospace City School of RDFZ is located in the northwest of Beijing, on a boundary between the city and nature between city and nature. The surrounding environment and the forces of educational change give the tone of dialogue, freedom to the campus together. Meanwhile, the campus faces practical issues of scale and land, current situation and future, culture and technology, campus and community. We hope that the campus can not only convey its own existence in an independent value system, but also establish an integrated context to meet these challenges.

Coyane Saikaitoki Restaurant / DO.DO.
This is a project for a porcelain manufacturer Saikai Toki located in Hasami, Nagasaki, Japan, a well-known town for its pottery production. “COYANE” restaurant was constructed in the site adjacent to “ÔYANE”, a multi-purpose space for the manufacturer’s shop & gallery, which was also designed by ourselves and was opened in 2016.
Studio Saar looks to Indian architecture for cultural centre in Rajasthan
Studio Saar has designed a cultural centre in India informed by Rajasthan’s architectural heritage that will be used to host educational and cultural programmes. Named Third Space: The Haveli of Curiosity, the building was designed to become a “third space” where young people, outside of their school and homes, can access education and social facilities.
