As the south extension of the city, the traffic of Yizhou Avenue is efficient. In this district, identical buildings and roads form the so-called new urban landscape, however, decrease the warmth and narrative of the traditional Chengdu lifestyle. This project locates miles away from downtown, away from hustle and bustle of the city. How would this new hotel develop with a busy street just next door while an old community on the other side? Even as a temporary residence, this place could definitely release the fatigue of travelers. Visual design is in second place here, and the living experience is significant improved by the consideration of functional settings. Thereby the spatial design can give new birth to ordinary daily life.

Pit Art Space is located in the Relic Garden of Yangshupu Power Plant, No. 2800 Yangshupu Road, Shanghai. The garden was originally the Yangshupu Power Plant built in 1913 by British investors. It is an important industrial heritage composed of chimneys, crane cranes, coal trestle, conveyor belt, clean pond, wet ash storage tank, dry ash storage tank and other operation facilities. Since the launch of the Huangpu River Public Space Project in 2015, this area has gradually transformed from a closed “no-entry” production shoreline to a living waterfront open space for cultural and ecological sharing.

The Public Library is part of a public-private initiative taken to rebuild the city of Constitución after the 8.8 degrees earthquake and tsunami that devastated the town during the year 2010. It is a small settlement situated in the very core of one of the biggest clusters of wood production in Chile. This situation gives identity to the town and also creates the best conditions to find not only high quality wood materials but also extremely well gifted carpenters to carefully craft a wooden building.
