The renovation project of a 20-year-old house, whose most unique character is a large window and pitched roof facing south. Our proposal is to insert another ceiling with a super elliptical void at 1.8m height in the upper floor, where living, dining space and kitchen are located.

HC House is a residential project of a small family in the urban area in Ha Tinh city, Ha Tinh province. We developed this project by connecting family routines, hobbies, professional characteristics and some memories of the old house where they lived in many years ago. This is a townhouse which is a typical type of residential project in Vietnam. Its dimensions is 7.5x19m, the facade is the only open area. The unique context and site constrain create challenges for the designer to create a space that is the modest and the most natural ventilation.
Living in the village does not necessarily imply living as always, but it does mean understanding what it stands for. This house does not pretend to be different from what happens in its surroundings but it does propose a reflection on how a house should be in the town today, respecting tradition and reducing its energy consumption to a minimum.

“Gradation in the Forest” is a summer house in a forest. In this area, the formation of the beautiful scenery by the regulations is advanced. The forest is composed of Japanese larch trees with straight vertical silhouettes, and the houses stand calmly and sparsely in the forest. This house, “Gradation in the Forest”, is part of a collection of small spaces, as if the house might melt into the environment of the woods. There are no big towns within walking distance and residents have more time to spend in the house. So, various spaces were prepared in order to make the living environment rich.
Located in Cidade de Deus, headquarter of Banco Bradesco in Osasco, the project aims to meet the demand for the eating and services of the area. With a population of approximately 12 thousand employees and several administrative buildings, the headquarter of the institution did not have aimed spaces for such uses.
The project is located in the ancient village of Rizhao, Shandong Province， which has a profound sense of historical vicissitudes. More than 100 century-old houses are well preserved. The walls of the houses are mostly built of stones from the Banks of the nearby gully river, just like the faint fireworks left after the blooming of life. We can feel the splendor of that era from the mottle. When I first came to this place, I was surprised by its wild and quiet. The site is close to a hill on the east side and water on the west side. Three big trees stand in it. Party a wishes to build a new house here to meet the functions of rest and hospitality. Its place spirit gives the person with ambition conceals in wild yearning.
