Ham-Sayeye-Park Apartment / White Cube Atelier

Ham-sayeye-park is designed and built in border city of Maku. This building as a substitution for the client’s previous house, is located in a 22*9 sqm property next to a small park. In fact the project is the neighbour of the quarter park.building – park interaction and relation between them was the first challenge of design. This interaction resulted in diverse balconies opening to the park. In turn the park benefits the shadow of the building at sunsets, so children can play comfortably in the park which is avid of dense greenery.

Located in Songzhuang, Beijing China, Tree art museum lies beside the main road of the area. Original village has vanished, replaced by big scale blocks which better fit for cars. Even if renowned as artist village, it’s difficult to stay or enjoy art exploration without local artist friend’s introducing. So, the first idea was to create an ambient, a public space where people would like to stay, date and communicate.

ShareCuse Coworking Space / ARCHITECTURE OFFICE

Drawing from the edifice’s rich 90-year history as an office building, and the firm’s own research into a range of workspace typologies, the design for ShareCuse explores, expands, and reinvigorates the notion of a cubicle. ShareCuse accommodates 25 members and is set within a 3,200-square-foot room on the second floor of an existing concrete and steel building. Architecture Office’s design for the space is defined by an arrangement of freestanding black cubicles and a kitchen island within the interior of the space, that defines a series of interstitial lounge spaces throughout the open office. Ringing the open workspace are seven private offices, a conference room, and a telephone booth.
