An industrial pleating machine is the focal point of Issey Miyake’s Homme Plissé flagship store, which has opened in Tokyo, Japan. The store is located in Tokyo’s affluent Aoyama neighbourhood and is the first flagship for Issey Miyake’s diffusion brand Homme Plissé. Launched in 2013, it exclusively produces micro-pleated items of clothing in lightweight fabrics

This single-family house is located in a very rainy area, with little light and low temperatures. Therefore most of the year is spent living indoors. On the other hand, although the place where the house is located has views of green meadows and forests, these views are in the opposite direction of the sun’s course. Considering this setup, a house that would allow that indoor life, but avoiding the feeling of confinement and darkness and incorporating the exterior into the interior, was designed.

UNStudio has designed a museum composed of immersive spheres in South Korea. Called the Challenge Museum, the building’s massing and general site approach contrasts with urban conditions to provide restful and flexible outdoor spaces that encourage community engagement.
