A shading plane over the water. The floating pavilion represents a building with no clear boundaries, without beginning or end, mimetized in the landscape, over the diffusive and reflexive territory of a water containment basin in a farm on the interior of São Paulo state – Brazil. The existing deck and tile roof became small to serve the nautical and leisure activities by the dam, being needed an ampliation proposal.

SUPERSPACE Proposes Timber Observation Tower and Vertical Forest for Zagreb

Istanbul-based SUPERSPACE has proposed a new concept for a pocketed timber observation tower in Zagreb, Croatia. Designed to be an iconic gate, the project would be sited between the old and new city. Called Ascension, the project takes inspiration from Zagreb’s historical and natural iconic landmarks. Facing the south bank of River Sava, the tower’s form is derived from the character of the old town’s existing towers integrated with a new vertical forest.

The Gym Loft is situated in the former gymnastics building of an early 20th century school complex in Rotterdam North.Eklund_terbeek architects were responsible for the transformation of the dilapidated buildings into seven unique homes. This loft-like apartment, for a creative family involved with dance and theatre, occupies the ground floor gym room and its adjacent service spaces.
