The founders of studio MÁS have built a minimal chapel from pieces of curving steel, for their own wedding in rural Hungary. Hungarians Bálint Gulyás and Orsolya Mészáros met whilst studying at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics. After graduating in 2016 they moved to Spain, interning at RCR Arquitectes, RAS Studio, and LoCa

Diwan-i-Khas was the hall of special audience during the Mughal times. If we look at the image references that are available through miniature paintings of that era, we can infer from the typology for building design and construction. The structure presents itself as pavilion set against a wall. Often some tensile fabric system would serve as extensions to the pavilion. Le Corbusier’s Assembly Building in Chandigarh also creates a similar gesture towards the large plaza. The sickle shaped roof supported by concrete shear walls acts like the tensile extensions of the Mughal pavilions.

The main idea in this project has been based on simplicity, standardization and readability of living space to increase users comfort. For designing this three-floor residential unit; despite the possibility of designing six residential units; the decision of designing three units (each floor one unit) was taken to improve the quality of living space and also create better usability and make spatial relationships more fluid and easier.

Body adornments that create alien-like appendages such as skin growths and webbed fingers feature in new fashion brand A.Human’s collection, which is currently on show in a nightmarish exhibit for New York Fashion Week. A.Human debuted the body-morphing designs earlier this week, as part of an immersive installation opened to coincide with the citywide event.
