A team of local architects has added new amenities to a temple school in rural Thailand, using affordable materials and parts of an existing building to keep project costs down. Architects Skarn Chaiyawat, Rina Shindo and Witee Wisuthumporn designed a dormitory for the school at Buddhanimit Temple, which is located near the city of Udon

Cottage in Sutton / Paul Bernier Architecte

A mountain cottage for ski weekends, for a family with 2 children. The project simply draws itself through the landscape as a black stroke hurtling down the slope. This axis, heavily marked by the shape of the house, points towards the south as well as Mount Sutton, a view which we wanted to prioritize.

Royal College of Art graduate Louise Nissen has suggested converting an abandoned lido in the British seaside town of Margate into a respiratory clinic for Londoners suffering from pollution-related maladies. Titled Sea Sanctuary, the concept was designed by Nissen in the final year of her interior design masters course at the Royal College of Art.

House in El Maitén / bernardo rosello – arquitectura

The house is located on a plot of 730 m2 in El Maitén, a suburban residential neighborhood of the city of Bahia Blanca. It was financed with a PROCREAR loan granted by the Argentine state. At the request of the owner, its realization was planned two construction stages: made, a house with an area of 70 sqm plus the gallery, which meets the needs of basic use for the single user, and the second stage with two bedrooms and a bathroom for future growth.
