Architecture studio Gimeno + Guitart has completed a church and parish centre in Tarragona, Spain, featuring concrete walls patterned with angular etchings. The church of Santa Maria Assumpta is situated in the city’s Bonavista neighbourhood on a plot adjacent to a plaza. It comprises a robust concrete polyhedron flanked by a translucent metallic volume.
