Kult Museum by Pool Leber Architekten

Pool Leber Architekten and Bleckmann Krys Architekten have combined 14th and 16th century structures, with modern concrete and brick volumes to create the Kult museum. Designed as both a cultural hub and museum for the town of Vreden, Germany, Kult has 1,400 square metres of space for a permanent collection. The 5,950-square-metre complex also houses a temporary exhibition

Beyond complying with mandatory regulations (different in each country), the quality of life for different-abled people depends on specific and daily factors that go beyond a railing or a ramp, and are often left in the hands of professionals who have never dealt with such issues.

The idea for this guest house in the archipelago of Stockholm was to create a simple housing unit that would work efficiently as an informal and compact vacation dwelling. In order to limit the construction budget, the majority of the house was done in low budget materials such as construction plywood and concrete. A straightforward use of materials that at the same time made for a raw and unpretentious interior fitting the client’s intended use and expectations.
