Situated at the centre of the town of Albino in Valle Seriana, the micro-apartment of just 25 sqm has been designed for a local couple, of Italian and Persian origin. It consists of the complete restoration of an open porch, once used as a storage area, contiguous to a private garden.
The St-Ignace house can be found on a winding road along the shores of the St. Lawrence. Nestled in the surrounding linear landscape, the home offers a refuge between the flow of the land and of the water. Clad in cedar, the house will evolve over the years, slowly, like boats gliding on the River.
We got a building of the pre-revolutionary period (2 level building built in 1914) not far from the center of Moscow. All interior and stylistic decisions were built in the context of the architecture of this house.
The Besix House in Dordrecht has been fully taken into use. When it was time to select an architect for the new construction of their head office in the Netherlands, this multidisciplinary construction company chose RoosRos Architecten.
The architecture of the building is subordinated to the vicinity of the Masurian lake, over which the house was built. The buildings did not disturb the landscape by opening the interior transparently to the beauty of the landscape. The house was designed in a rectangular plan with a length of 50m, using practically the whole building plot.
This renovation of, and extension to, a large Victorian end-of-terrace house in Rathgar, saw the upper levels stripped back to their original features and proportions, with insensitive additions removed, so as to again reveal the essential character of the spaces.
The preexisting condition. The patrimony building, located in the north-west intersection of Santa Fe’s and Italy street of Rosario`s city, was built at the beginning of the twenty`s century. It consisted of a formally uniform ensemble of nine houses situated at ground and top floors, compounding one of that popularly known as houses for rent, they were rented for several uses until the first decade of this century, when they became crowded guesthouses, for people who rented the rooms because of its special urban position.
The TOTEMS OF THE CENTRO were born in a collaborative architecture residency proposed as a transversal program whose purpose was to analyze and rethink new solutions, both theoretical and practical, for the Centro Huarte and its surroundings.
The proposal seize and multiplies the distribution of the existing building, frees walls to generate spatial fluidity and unify the premises programme. “The encounter” is the key characteristic of this single-family home project for a couple with two daughters.
The interior is inspired by the motives of modern Italy, the street elements of the exterior, the special feeling of the mixture of eras that we enjoy just by walking, for example, in Milan.
