The owners’ big family have recently moved from Northern to Southern Vietnam. They host family and friends get-togethers at their house every month with hundreds of people coming as a family tradition. His house became too small for such events. Being built on a 260 sqm lot, this “get-together” house was designed in a unique way to open up the ground floor, living space and worship area to nature.

This luxurious residence, which has just been completed recently, is absolute example of a design that satisfies the owners’ preference more than just to satisfy architect’s taste. The owners who are successful in their business are also highly experienced in life and have a different architectural conception. While the husband loves the unique and creative style, the wife favors something that is practical and convenient. Combined, they inspired Architect Tran Le Quoc Binh for an ingenious design.

This long site has a public footpath running along its side boundary as well as a high rise high density public housing development at the rear which was under construction. Thus privacy was a major concern for its occupants. The house is designed around 2 courtyards.

This house is a three-story wooden house located in a residential area near the center part of Tokyo. The client is a couple working together, and they requested a space where they could spend a relaxing in holiday. In addition, high air tightness and high heat insulation specifications were required so that the entire three-story space could be used without the stress of temperature differences.

The central part of Nakhon Si Thammarat, one of the most ancient cities on the southern part of Thailand, is the location of Navakitel Design Hotel. The site is surrounded by shophouse and residence. This hotel consists of 68 accommodation units, lobby on the ground floor and open terrace on the third floor for organizing hotel activities.

Villa 174 / Cedrus Studio

“Villa 174” is located in Khezershahr north of Iran with a mild climate. Khezershahr town is in the coastal city of Babolsar and spreads across the north to the south side of the city belt. The “Villa 174” is on the south side. Constructed on a grid base with specific regulations applied to it. The layout of each building block is determined by the town’s construction codes e.g. the maximum height of each villa is 9 meters. The external material is to be cement render or timber and fences should not be masonry.

A collection of intersecting rocks form the sweeping dune compound of RESIDENTIAL M external skin that defines the internal program of 5 residential units and their exclusive interior oasis leading to a conjuring representation of the desert culture. While respecting the value of the surroundings and maintaining traditional Arabic functions as a whole, each unit sustains its individual contemporary identity. The whole project strip reflects a unified scheme through the design in the use of the natural stone against a white canvas allowing the project to tie together as a single development.
